Shipping Address Requirements
Please do not use a PO Box address. We ship exclusively via UPS and FedEx, and all orders must be delivered to a physical street address.
Customers are responsible for verifying that their shipping address is correct at checkout. River Chic Designs is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a carrier is unable to deliver an order due to their policies, access restrictions, or issues related to your location, this is the customer’s responsibility, not that of River Chic Designs.
Processing & Shipping Times
Candle Orders
Please kindly understand that ALL of our candles are hand-poured and made-to-order. We begin pouring your candle after your order is placed, and we are working as fast as possible, nonstop, to fulfill orders.
Because our candles are made specifically for each customer, candle orders cannot be canceled once placed.
Due to extremely high demand and the volume of candle orders we receive daily, please allow up to 10 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) for candle order processing before shipment.
Home Décor Orders
Our home décor items are packaged and shipped in the order received. Due to high order volume, please allow up to 10 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) for processing before shipment.
Third-Party Fulfillment & Product Availability
Some of our products are fulfilled by third-party manufacturers. On occasion, an item may become discontinued, delayed, or otherwise unavailable after an order has been placed. While we do our best to stay informed of these changes, we may receive limited or no notice from the supplier.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that product availability is subject to change, and that River Chic Designs is not liable for delays, product discontinuation, or any resulting inconvenience or loss.
Once your order is completed, packaged, and ready for shipment, you will receive a notification via email and/or text to the contact information provided at checkout, along with your tracking details.
Free Shipping Policy
Orders that qualify for free shipping must be shipped to one single address. At this time, we are unable to split free-shipping orders across multiple locations.
If items are returned from an order that originally qualified for free shipping and the remaining order total falls below the $100 free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
Please note that free shipping is not available for orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii.
River Chic Designs is not responsible for packages that are undeliverable due to incorrect, incomplete, or missing shipping information, or for packages that are refused at delivery. We kindly ask that all shipping details be carefully reviewed at checkout. If a package is returned to us for any reason, applicable shipping charges may be deducted from any eligible refund.

How Can I Check the Status of My Order?
Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an email notification from us containing your tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the status of your delivery. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become active.
If you have not received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation, kindly reach out to us at riverchicdesigns@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will promptly investigate the matter for you.
